The ceremony of presenting the certificates to the graduates of the business course “School of Export” of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry was held at the National Library of Belarus.

The ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich.

The business course, which is the key part of the same-name multifaceted large-scale BelCCI project, was held from September 28 through November 23, 2018. Its graduation certificates were presented to 93 representatives of 43 Belarusian enterprises of all sizes and ownership – from national economy flagships and individual entrepreneurs. The course participants got informed on peculiarities of such export process aspects as finance resources management, marketing activities, legal and tax accounting, customs support and logistics, business communication with foreign partners, and other.

The BelCCI Chairman Vladimir Ulakhovich stressed at the ceremony that the business course “School of Export” has proven its efficiency for the Belarusian business community; therefore, the BelCCI will continue this course. “The competition on the global market is growing. Our country has ambitious plans – to balance the export portfolio, including through the promotion of our products to the far arc markets. This work requires quality approach. And the most important thing we can do is to teach our enterprises, to make them familiar with export promotion techniques,” Vladimir Ulakhovich said.

The Chairman of the Council of the Republic, Mikhail Myasnikovich, noted that export is the priority of social and economic development of Belarus. “This is how it will always be, be there no export – there won’t be society’s well-being. The “School of Export” graduates include the enterprises that have well established themselves as exporters. And it is the right choice for them, as they understand there is turbulence at foreign markets, and enrich their knowledge. This knowledge will be essential to ensure the annual increase in export volumes,” Mikhail Maysnikovich said.
