On November 6-8, 2023, the delegation of Grodno region visited Shanghai (PRC).

The visit was organized by Grodno branch of the BelCCI together with Grodno Regional Executive Committee.

The regional delegation included the heads of Grodno Regional Executive Committee, Novogrudok District Executive Committee, Grodno branch of the BelCCI, Administration of FEZ «Grodnoinvest» and enterprises of Grodno region.

As part of the visit, the event «Day of Grodno region» was held at the 6^th  China International Export Exhibition (CIIE).

During the event, which took place on the premises of the National Pavilion of the Republic of Belarus, multimedia presentations of trade, economic, investment and tourism potential of Grodno region were held for Chinese partners and a tasting of Belarusian food products was organized.

In addition, the Agreement on the establishment of sister city relations between the city of Dunhuang (Gansu Province of the People’s Republic of China) and Novogrudok district (Grodno region of the Republic of Belarus) was signed, as well as a number of documents on cooperation in the trade and economic sphere between enterprises of Grodno region and Chinese companies.

During their stay in Shanghai, the delegation of Grodno region held negotiations with the leadership of the provinces of Gansu and Fujian on the further development of sister city relations.

The Belarusian delegation also visited Shanghai Free Trade Zone «Lin-gang». The parties exchanged experience in the field of attracting investment, improving the investment climate and the functioning of preferential territories for doing business. An agreement was reached on the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of investment and trade, as well as exploring the possibility of implementing joint projects in the field of logistics in the territory of FEZ «Grodnoinvest».

On July 6-7, 2023 the exposition of Grodno region was presented at the 29^th China Trade and Investment Fair in Lanzhou (Gansu Province, China).

The collective organizer of the exposition was Grodno branch of the BelCCI.

Grodno Meat Processing Plant OJSC, Slonim Meat Processing Plant OJSC, Bellakt OJSC, Primemilk LLC, Lidakhleboprodukt OJSC, Molochny Mir OJSC, Grodno Azot OJSC and Mostovdrev OJSC took part in the exposition.

The collective stand of the region was visited by the Chairman of Grodno Regional Executive Committee Vladimir Karanik, as well as representatives of People’s Government of Gansu Province.

During the exposition, negotiations were held in b2b format with potential Chinese partners, as well as business representatives from other states participating in the fair, presentations of the economic, investment and tourism potential of Grodno region were held and a tasting of products from Belarusian enterprises was organized.

UP “Grodno branch of the BelCCI” took part in the visit of the official delegation of the Grodno region to Tomsk from May 29 to June 1, 2023. The delegation was headed by the Chairman of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee Vladimir Karanik. The visit was also attended by Assistant to the President of the Republic of Belarus – Inspector for the Grodno region Yuri Karaev, Chairman of the Grodno Regional Council of Deputies Elena Pasyuta, Deputy Chairman of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee Vitaly Nevera, representatives of the Educational institution “Grodno State University named after Ya. Kupala”, UO “Grodno State Medical University”, GU “Administration of FEZ “Grodnoinvest”, JSC “Dairy World”, JSC “Grodno meat Processing Plant”, JSC “Shchuchinsky plant “Avtoprovod”, JSC “Voronovskaya agricultural machinery” and ODO “firm ABC”.

Within the framework of the visit, a visit to the Chamber of Commerce of the Tomsk region took place. Maxim Kostarev, President of the Tomsk Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Oksana Kozlovskaya, Speaker of the Tomsk Regional Duma, welcomed the participants of the Belarusian delegation. The main topic of the meeting was the expansion of Russian-Belarusian business cooperation, as well as the strengthening of regional ties. The Belarusian side presented the economic potential of enterprises of the Grodno region. After the presentation, an exchange of contacts of representatives of SMEs of the Tomsk region took place. About 30 Tomsk companies held b2b negotiations with representatives of the Belarusian side. A cooperation agreement was also signed between the Tomsk Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Grodno branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

During the visit, contracts were signed between Belarusian and Russian companies. A number of participants of the business visit visited Russian enterprises and got acquainted with their work.

In the period from May 29 to May 31, 2023 Grodno branch of the BelCCI, together with the Astrakhan Fund for Support of Small and Medium Enterprises, organized a reverse business mission from the Republic of Belarus to Astrakhan region of Russian Federation.

The Belarusian delegation included representatives of SI «Administration of FEZ Grodnoinvest», LLC «Fruitreal», LLC «Eurotorg», LLC «Beloe More», LLC «Anikstorg», UE «Stalnaya Energia» and Novogrudok forestry.

During the visit, a business event was held on cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and Astrakhan region, within the framework of which multimedia presentations of the economic, investment and tourism potentials of Grodno and Astrakhan regions were held. Business negotiations were organized in b2b format with the participation of more than 20 business representatives from Belarus and Astrakhan region.

During stay in Astrakhan region the Belarusian delegation visited a number of enterprises in the Russian region: LLC «ARK Beluga», LLC «Next», LLC «Sedoi Kaspiy», LLC «PKF Berkut» and peasant farm of individual entrepreneur Anufriev E.A.

During the visit, a contract was signed for the supply of fish products to the Republic of Belarus. In addition, preliminary agreements were reached on the supply of fruits and vegetables (including early potatoes) to the Belarusian market, as well as pumping equipment manufactured by LLC «Sarmat+».

An additional result of the business mission was negotiations on the supply of Belarusian lumber to Astrakhan region.

In addition, following the results of negotiations between the deputy general director for FEA of Grodno branch of the BelCCI Konstantin Kaikov and the head of tourism development department of the Ministry of economic development of Astrakhan region Irina Terkulova, an agreement was reached to hold online presentations of the tourism potentials of Grodno and Astrakhan regions with the participation of businessmen from the two regions.

Also, a working meeting was held between the deputy general director for FEA of Grodno branch of the BelCCI Konstantin Kaikov and the president of Astrakhan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Stanislav Sinchenko, during which an agreement was reached on further joint activities of a foreign economic nature.
